About
A Mediterranean
story
The brainchild of four friends, Siraloe was born in 2018 in Syracuse, Sicily. Syracuse has a rich history as a hub of cultural exchange and agriculture, having served as the capital of Magna Graecia and welcomed diverse populations and culinary traditions over the centuries. Its location on the Ionian Sea blesses it with a mild and breezy climate, while the abundant sunshine and high temperatures make it an ideal habitat for succulent plants that can thrive with low water consumption. Siraloe’s founders saw the potential in this land to grow aloe vera, and thus began writing their Mediterranean story.
Siraloe:
Beyond organic
In Syracuse, Siraloe has planted ten thousand Aloe barbadensis Miller plants of Sicilian origin, all cultivated with the highest quality standards both in the field and in the lab.
Siraloe’s plants are grown under strict organic regulations, adhering to even higher standards than those required for organic certification. We place great emphasis on sustainability, utilising environmentally-friendly practices such as manual labor, natural compounds, and absolutely no chemical products. This ensures that Siraloe’s aloe vera is of the highest quality and purity, reflecting the company’s commitment to both the environment and its customers.
